Since December 2012, the Kosovo Women’s Network has provided 65 grants to its member organizations through the Kosovo Women’s Fund, totaling €180,956.45

  • NGO Bliri

    NGO Bliri in Drenas will work towards “The Improvement of Women's Access to Quality Health Care” (€2,975).
  • NGO Divine Woman and the Association for Education and Family Care

    Divine Woman and the Association for Education and Family Care also received a “Networking for Change” Grant. “Be Aware for a Better Life” aims to improve physical and mental health among young people from the municipalities of Gjakova and Gjilan (€8,000).
  • NGO Open Door and NGO Ruka Ruci

    NGO Open Door and NGO Ruka Ruci received a “Networking for Change” Grant, entitled: “Empowering Vulnerable Women through Knowledge and Awareness on the Law on Gender Equality, Law No. 2004/2.” (€8,000).
  • Norma

    Will conduct research in five municipalities, monitoring the implementation of the law on contentious procedure in 2013.(€2,810)
  • Partners Kosova

    Will organize meetings between women and men, gender equality officers and representatives from local judicial institutions in Skenderaj, Drenas, Lypjan and Ferizaj to discuss women’s right to property inheritance. (€2,880)
  • Visionary Woman of the XXI Century

    Will raise awareness in Has about breast and cervical cancer using local media. They also will advocate for mobile health units to visit these two regions and organize an action to support women from the region who are suffering from cancerous diseases. (€2,885)
  • Shqiponjat e Dardanës (Eagles of Dardana)

    Will organize women of Gracanica to be politically active by informing them about their political rights, creating women’s village councils, organizing meetings between them and all political parties and creating a clear strategy for the functioning of the village council for one year. (€2,804)
  • Violete

    Will promote who are successful in school, making them leaders and role models, and motivating other girls to continue their education. Leaders will present handcrafts made by girls’ parents to raise funds that support girls’ education and improved integration into the Kosovo educational system....
  • The Foundation for Education and Development

    Will teach and involve women of Novobrdo in advocating for the municipality of Novobrdo to provide free transportation for its residents. (€2,665)
  • Vita-Jeta

    Will advocate to health institutions for 600 women pensioners to receive free check-ups for osteoporosis. Meanwhile, they will prepare women pensioners for advocacy related to the implementation of the law on retirement and the law on healthcare and health insurance, set to be adopted in 2015. (€2...
  • Active Women of Gjakova (AWG)

    Will organize information sessions for Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian communities in Gjakova about the law on domestic violence and how they can use this law for their protection. (€2,780)
  • Organization of Persons with Muscular Dystrophy of Kosovo (Organizata e Personave me Distrofi Muskulare)

    Organization of Persons with Muscular Dystrophy of Kosovo (Organizata e Personave me Distrofi Muskulare) will organize various activities for people with special needs from Pristina, Gjilan, Ferizaj, Mitrovica, Prizren and in the rural areas. (2,700€)
  • Women’s Initiative Association (Shoqata Iniciativa e Grave)

    Women’s Initiative Association (Shoqata Iniciativa e Grave) will train women from the village of Bresane in tailoring and is committed to their employment in factories. (3,000€)
  • Contemporary Woman (Gruaja Bashkëkohore)

    Contemporary Woman (Gruaja Bashkëkohore) will organize health lectures, psycho-social trainings, fitness exercises to replace psysiotherapy exercises and will advocate at the hospital of the regional centre in Prizren so there will be better services provided to persons with disabilities.     The Association for Education and Family Care (Shoqata për Edukim dhe Përkujdesjen e Familjes) will organize educational sessions, round table and quiz for the young people of the Municipality of Gjakova on the topic “ Protection from Sexually Transmitted Diseases.” (2,390 €)
  • Gora

    Gora will committ theirselve on the economic empowerment of women of the Goran community in Dragash, by creating handmade products and selling them in deifferent fairs. (2,780 €)
  • Hendifer

    Hendifer will organize gyneocological visits and trainings for the prevention of the breast and uterine cancer for women of the villages Balaj, Nerodime, Greme, Komogllave, Zaskok, Slivove. (2,630 €)
  • Alma

    Alma will work on identifying women and economically empowering them in two local communities of Lutogllava and Leshan, within the Municipality of Peja. (2,854 €)
  • Qendra për Promovimin e të Drejtave të Grave (The Centre for Promotion of Women's Rights)

    The Centre for Promotion of Women's Rights will identify cases of sexual violence committed during the war in 17 villages of Drenas Municipality (2,570 €).
  • Rona

    Rona will economically empower women, supporting their participation in tourism by producing handcrafts and promoting cultural heritage in Gora and Opoja (2,800 €).
