{"id":3339670,"date":"2019-04-01T14:02:51","date_gmt":"2019-04-01T14:02:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/womensnetwork.org\/?p=3339670"},"modified":"2019-04-01T15:37:53","modified_gmt":"2019-04-01T15:37:53","slug":"kwn-and-the-lobby-in-support-of-podrimqaku-subashi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/womensnetwork.org\/sr\/kwn-and-the-lobby-in-support-of-podrimqaku-subashi\/","title":{"rendered":"KWN and the Lobby in support of Podrimqaku-Subashi"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Kosovo Women\u2019s Network (KWN) and the Lobby on Gender Equality in Kosovo (Lobby) on the 29<sup>th<\/sup> of March through a Press Release have expressed their concern regarding the pressure and the unfair treatment of Zahrie Podrimqaku-Subashi, Coordinator of the Municipal\u2019s Human Rights Unit and Gender Equality and Equal Opportunities Officer in Drenas by the Mayor of this municipality, Ramiz Lladrovci.<\/p>\n<p>Podrimqaku-Subashi is being a target of the pressure by the Mayor of the Municipality, who unlawfully tried to demote and replace her with his sister&#8217;s daughter-in-law.<\/p>\n<p>In this letter, KWN and Lobby have recalled Podrimqaku-Subashi&#8217;s work and activism in the protection and promotion of human rights, with particular emphasis on the protection of women&#8217;s rights.
