This discussion took place within the initiative \u201cAdvancement of the Heritage Law&#8220;.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">This debate\u00a0is\u00a0the second out of four planned to be held throughout the\u00a0initiative,\u00a0and it was attended\u00a0by\u00a0representatives\u00a0from civil society and institutions.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Sanije\u00a0Graj\u00e7evci,\u00a0Director of the \u201cAureola\u201d, stated that they seek the removal or suspension of the Article 130 of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gzk.rks-gov.net\/ActDocumentDetail.aspx?ActID=2407\">Law of\u00a0Inheritance<\/a>\u00a0which will have an\u00a0impact in women\u2019s economic empowerment.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Recommendations will be prepared after the cycle of debates\u00a0get finalized, and then these recommendations will be sent to the relevant government commissions, as well as to all members of Parliament.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">This initiative was supported by the KWN Kosovo Women\u2019s Fund and funded by the Austrian Development Agency (ADA).\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Pristina &#8211;\u00a0On\u00a07 Mar. 2019\u00a0the Association of Women \u201cAureola\u201d, a member organization of Kosovo Women\u2019s Network (KWN), held a discussion on \u201cAdvancing the Law of Inheritance\u00a0with purpose to guaranteeing economic stability of family inheritance for female heirs\u201d.
