{"id":3340877,"date":"2019-06-10T11:21:55","date_gmt":"2019-06-10T11:21:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/womensnetwork.org\/?p=3340877"},"modified":"2019-07-04T13:05:00","modified_gmt":"2019-07-04T13:05:00","slug":"support-aureola-give-gratitude-and-power-for-women","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/womensnetwork.org\/sr\/support-aureola-give-gratitude-and-power-for-women\/","title":{"rendered":"Support \u201cAureola\u201d, Give Gratitude and Empower Women"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Women\u2019s Association <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/Aureola-2389058007835418\/\">\u201cAureola\u201d<\/a> was established in 1995 to support and raise awareness of women and girls for self-organization in order to overcome difficult economic, social and political situations that prevailed at that period of time.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nowadays, after more than two decades, Sanije Graj\u00e7evci, Executive Director of \u201cAureola\u201d, reveals these and other activities of the association, as well as challenges faced by the organization.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/womensnetwork.org\/aureola-3-2\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-3340406\" src=\"https:\/\/womensnetwork.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/aureola-3-300x146.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"146\" srcset=\"https:\/\/womensnetwork.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/aureola-3-300x146.jpg 300w, https:\/\/womensnetwork.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/aureola-3-768x373.jpg 768w, https:\/\/womensnetwork.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/aureola-3-1024x498.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/womensnetwork.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/aureola-3.jpg 1280w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Presently \u201cAureola\u201d through the program for women\u2019s economic empowerment established the Social Enterprise \u201cAureola\u201d, in order to increase the participation of women in society and to achieve sustainability of the organization by offering paid services <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/2389058007835418\/photos\/a.2392988117442407\/2729981907076358\/?type=3&amp;theater\">(design, textile and tailoring courses)<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cWe are not as a private business where all it matters is the profit, for us social impact is very important, as it is important to increase the number of employed women and increasing their access to labor. The goal is that through this Social Enterprise to increase women&#8217;s employment, and to create stability for the organization&#8220;,\u00a0 said Graj\u00e7evci.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">She continues saying that despite her wishes, currently, they cannot offer free courses, even that there are such requests.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cIf somebody supports us, we can also offer free courses to women. We are empowering some women whom no one has ever considered before, including here the engagement of unemployed women and those facing social challenges&#8220;,\u00a0 she says.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Graj\u00e7evci mentioned the need for volunteers in the organization, as a very important part of the support.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cWe need volunteers, yet we need them, especially in the field of technology, in that way we would have better marketing for our work\u201d, she added.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/womensnetwork.org\/sanija-aureola-2\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-3340409\" src=\"https:\/\/womensnetwork.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/sanija-aureola-300x146.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"146\" srcset=\"https:\/\/womensnetwork.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/sanija-aureola-300x146.jpg 300w, https:\/\/womensnetwork.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/sanija-aureola-768x373.jpg 768w, https:\/\/womensnetwork.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/sanija-aureola-1024x498.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/womensnetwork.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/sanija-aureola.jpg 1280w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Graj\u00e7evci\u00a0said that during this process they have learned that tailoring courses increase women\u2019s employment\/self-employment, as well as boost their self-confidence.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cYou are invited to become part of this action to increase the professional skills of women and also their employment rate. Only united we will achieve our goals. Give love, gratitude, and power to the woman\u201d, is Graj\u00e7evci\u2019s message to all supporters of this cause.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So far, \u201cAureola\u201d implemented its program through projects supported mainly from international donors. Kosovo Women\u2019s Fund (KWF) of Kosovo Women\u2019s Network (KWN) has also contributed to Aureola\u2019s work by supporting two initiatives: \u201cAdvancement of inheritance law\u201d, and \u201cWomen&#8217;s advocacy for their right to property and inheritance\u201d.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All this way \u201cAureola\u201d has employed 7 women and has managed to professionally train 60 women in tailoring field (mostly 18-50 years old).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Women\u2019s Association \u201cAureola\u201d was established in 1995 to support and raise awareness of women and girls for self-organization in order to overcome difficult economic, social and political situations that prevailed at that period of time.
