On Friday, the initiative \u201cTogether We Create, Together We Grow\u201d, organized by the organization \u201cListen to My Voice), came to an end. The initiative aimed to create an inclusive space where every child feels accepted, equal, and valued. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Over the course of two weeks, with activities held three times a week, 30 children with and without developmental difficulties, together with their mothers, had the opportunity to take part in creative, educational, and social activities, learning, collaborating, and creating together. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The initiative was made possible through funds raised from fairs organized by \u201cListen to My Voice,\u201d as well as the support of various businesses and the municipality. Psychologists and teachers also made a special contribution by volunteering their time and expertise. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the closing event, the works created by the children throughout the two weeks were exhibited for those in attendance, highlighting their creativity, talent, and dedication. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Representatives of the Obiliq Police and the Municipality of Obiliq also attended the event. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Arjeta Miftari, from the Directorate for Culture, Youth and Sports of the Municipality of Obiliq, highlighted the importance of the initiative and promised that the Municipality would continue to support similar initiatives to the extent that its resources and capacities allow. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOur goal is to raise awareness in society so that these children are accepted as part of society and feel equal to other children,\u201d said Xhevahire Preniqi, director of the organization. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Speaking from her personal experience as the mother of a child with developmental delays, Preniqi also shared a powerful message: <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cConsidering that I also have a child with developmental delays and often face difficulties, sometimes I feel like giving up. But I am afraid that one day my child will ask me: \u2018Why did Mommy give up?\u2019 That is why I get back up and keep going.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cListen to My Voice\u201d continues to work towards a society where every child, regardless of their differences or developmental difficulties, feels accepted and equal. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
