The Ministry of Finance, Labour and Transfers has launched the Kosovo Social Assistance Reform Project

The Ministry of Finance, Labour and Transfers has initiated the Kosovo Social Assistance Reform Project. This project is designed to benefit impoverished families and those facing severe economic hardship.

To qualify for the pilot program, households must pass a three-phase poverty assessment: a financial assets test, an overall assets test, and a near-cash benefits test.

Current recipients of social assistance programs can apply for the pilot. However, if qualified, the old assistance scheme will be terminated as beneficiaries can only participate in one social program.

For appeals related to eligibility and benefits under the pilot, please use the e-Kosova platform after the beneficiaries have been selected. Appeals related to the broader Kosovo Social Assistance Reform Project can be submitted through the Ministry of Finance, Labour and Transfers website at https://mfpt.rks-gov.net/Socialet/Page/975, where you can complete the appeal form and submit it to the email address: ankesa.sas@rks-gov.net.
