Nermin Mahmuti is the Executive Director of the Community Development Fund (CDF), with more than twenty years of experience in socio-economic development, community empowerment and the management of development programmes. Throughout her career, she has been involved in the design, leadership and implementation of initiatives that have supported local development, social inclusion, economic empowerment and the promotion of sustainable development practices in Kosovo. Under her leadership, CDF has implemented programmes and projects supporting entrepreneurship, rural development, innovation, human rights and the empowerment of diverse social groups, particularly those that are underrepresented. She is recognised for her strategic approach, ability to build partnerships and commitment to creating opportunities that contribute to long-term, inclusive development. In addition to her professional work, Ms Mahmuti has a long history of civic engagement and voluntary work. She has served, and continues to contribute, on the governing boards of civil society organisations, bringing her expertise in management and sustainable development while supporting the strengthening of the civil society sector and the advancement of the public interest in Kosovo. Her work and engagement reflect a sustained commitment to community development, the building of lasting partnerships and the promotion of positive social change.
