The report includes six sections based on programs identified in the KWN work plan for 2011: increasing women’s participation in politics and decision-making; improving women’s health; reduction of trafficking and domestic violence; increasing women’s participation in regional peace-building; building the capacity of KWN; and other activities.

The report includes six sections based on the programs identified in the KWN work plan for 2010: 1) increasing women’s participation in politics and decision-making; 2) empowering voters; 3) improving women’s health; 4) decreasing trafficking and domestic violence; 5) increasing women’s involvement in regional peace-building; and 6) strengthening the capacity of the network.     This report is divided into five sections according to the five areas in which the Kosova Women’s Network (KWN) worked in 2007: Building the Capacity of KWN and Serving Our Members; International Networking and Information Sharing; Increasing Women’s Participation in Politics and Decision-Making; Combating Trafficking and Violence against Women; and Improving Women’s Health.

  • KWN Annual Report 2006 (pdf)

    The past year was marked by important changes in Kosova and the region. As Kosova entered into negotiations concerning its final political status and women were ignored in these peace processes, we mobilized, combining efforts with other women’s groups in the region to demand women’s voices be heard during these important processes. Thus, our work as a network expanded to include both grassroots activism and international advocacy.

    In 2005, we focused on furthering the implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 1325 in Kosova. It guarantees women the right to participate in Kosova’s status talks. KWN continually advocates for the appointment of a woman representative from Kosova in these talks.  

  • KWN Annual Report 2004 (pdf)

    This year we focused on building a stronger network through institutional capacity building; and advocated for improved implementation of legal mechanisms towards gender equality and women’s rights in Kosovo.
